The transfer portal come to life

‘G’ (Gerardo Alvarez) is the manager of the College Transfer Combine. Born in Argentina, G’s passion and love for the game is what helped foster this unique idea. He has spent his entire life in and around soccer; including a successful 4-year playing career at Northwestern University followed by 1 year in the USL before sustaining a serious injury, cutting his playing career short. G also has over a decade of coaching experience at the high school and college level. He currently runs the HS program at his alma mater.

There are lot of challenges for aspiring college soccer players today, especially transfers. This talented and coveted pool of players do not have many ways to showcase themselves. The College Transfer Combine is a necessary platform for players across ALL divisions, including those in the transfer portal, to be seen by coaches and get recruited at a LIVE event. Year after year, we are seeing the tremendous impact that these college-ready transfers are making at every level across the country.
